Update to the forecast for today



 Models have begun to show the steady rain I mentioned in the forecast arriving later today than expected.

Below are the new approximate times that the weather will change from showery to constant.

South Willamette Valley: 1 PM

North Willamette Valley: 3 PM

South Puget Sound: 8 PM

North Puget Sound: 11 PM

    Thanks for including Lacey/Olympia on the maps. After showers all morning, we are basking in a delightful sunbreak at 10 a.m.

Winds we typically receive in the Pacific Northwest are only high enough to be classified as “blustery”, but with the right conditions aloft, areas of the PNW can be hit by highly damaging wind speeds.
